The original Twin Tipped Fred Perry Shirt. A piece of British subcultural uniform, made in England for 60 years. Designed with a straight fit, in our signature cotton piqué.
Made in Leicester, England, the G12 hasn’t changed since it was originally designed by Fred in the ‘50s. Legend has it that a buyer from Lillywhites requested the addition of football team colors to the plain-color. It subsequently became the first piece to carry our signature twin tipping in the 5-4-4 ratio. The twin tipped was the piece that took us from sportswear to streetwear, and with the same design details as the original, it’s a true piece of subcultural uniform. This colorway was first designed in the 1960s. A subversive take on the original white tennis shirt: the colors of anti-establishment dressing.
