For over 50 years, scooter enthusiasts and mods have gathered at British seaside towns for "weekender" rallies, featuring live music and dancing. Paddy Smith, an illustrator and scooter lover, began creating hand-printed "weekender" patches in the early 1980s, which served as commemorative medals for attendees. These exclusive patches, showcasing unique designs for each event, represented the date and location of the "weekender." In collaboration with Paddy Smith, six custom-designed patches were applied to a selection of Fred Perry styles, highlighting the longstanding connection between the Laurel Wreath and British subcultures.
