The 1490 Black Virginia Boot is a timeless Dr. Martens design - but with the iconic Doc's laced up even higher for an edgier vibe. And now, it's crafted from supple, flexible Virginia leather. Featuring signature Doc's elements like grooved edges, visible stitching, and a heel-loop, these boots are set on the iconic air-cushioned sole with oil and fat resistance plus excellent abrasion and slip resistance. A staple of subculture style, the 10-eye 1490 is our most recognizable silhouette, beloved since the 70s. The Backhand leather is full-grain and oh-so-soft to the touch. Our Goodyear-welted construction is heat-sealed at 700°C and finished with our signature welt stitching for ultimate durability.
